Previously circulated. There had been a recent theft of tools from property at Bootle Station. The Police asked for residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police on 101.

Clerks Report
The Clerk reported that she had received no response from the prison re the trampling of bracken. The proposed street map will be presented to the Annual Parish meeting for comment and Microbus will give a 10 minute presentation at the APM.

Clir Pratt had previously circulated a report to the council, which was accepted. Highways were going to address the issue of the grids and clean them out,
Beach — there has been a conversation between QinetiQ and CBC re the provision of blocks to slow down erosion. Clir Pratt to get an update on progress.
Clir Kenworthy stated that no feedback had been received of the recent speed survey. ClIr Pratt to chase.
Clir Faulkner asked when the new speed limit signs would be fixed.

157/24.2 Footpath Wellbank/S106 monies
Clir Kenworthy reported that chippings had been delivered for the footpath. Local Ranger to progress putting a plan together, Meeting 8 May with landowner to discuss gates/access. £7k has been awarded from Copeland Community Fund towards cost of hard footpath subject to match funding being received.
An application for a grant has been drafted and to be submitted to Cumberland for remaining £42k needed to build the roadside footpath.
Clir Kenworthy has been invited to a meeting in early May with Wellbank and LDNP to discuss the footpath project.
Clir Faulkner reported that the Active Travel group are meeting to discuss footpaths.

The contractor has indicated that works will commence by end of April/early May
157/24.4 Environment Issues
Clerk to re contact the prison to take on the task of trampling back the bracken in the Community Woodland in May & August. There was a suggestion of a “Trample Day” where members of the community were invited to undertake the task.

The Clerk had received a follow up email from Cumberland however previously raised issues had not been addressed. Clir Pratt to liaise with appropriate officers to obtain the necessary details.

158/24.1 BDSSA – CliIr Kenworthy reported that the BNG report had been received and external units will need to be paid for. The mound has been tested/analysed and will need special disposal routes to remove due to contaminants. Once speed data received will submit planning application

159/24 Councillor Matters
¢ Clir Kenworthy asked on behalf of by residents of Summerhill and regarding the 20 houses proposed to be demolished. Clir Pratt to again ask Homegroup to arrange meeting with residents.
e Clir Read reported that the dog poo bin had been removed from Bootle Station, there was now no suitable bin on the route from the station to Hycemoor. On reporting it was stated that evidence was required that it had actually been there. Clir Kenworthy located the bin on Street view and passed on screenshots to Clir Pratt to pursue for reinstatement.
e Clir Duck reported that a resident had complained about the grids on the A595 rattling when vehicles passed over them. Clir Pratt to pursue.
