143/24.1 Community Plan
CliIr Cozier reported that a questionnaire had now been formulated which will be launched at the Annual Parish Meeting. Feedback will be analysed at the June meeting. Questionnaire to be placed on website, Bootle Crack and paper copies to be left at the shop. Paper copies will be available at the APM.
ClIr Faulkner reported that he had attended a meeting re Broadband at Muncaster on 25 February 2025. Works to commence Seascale to Millom. Medical alarms will not work on the digital system and users to contact their provider.

Clir Kenworthy reported that chippings had been delivered for the footpath. S106 monies are now with LDNP. Awaiting decision from Cumberland Community Fund re grant application.

144/24.1 BDSSA – Clir Kenworthy reported that the Structural design had now been received. BNG look to enhance grazing field

145/24 Correspondence
All correspondence has been previously circulated. The following had been received:
o Letter from Muncaster Microbus. Invite them to have a 10 minute session at the Annual Parish Meeting to talk about their work.
146/24 Councillor Matters
Clir Falkner reported that he had repaired the noticeboard door but on inspection all the other noticeboard door hinges required replacing. Clirs Kenworthy and Crozier to assist.
Clir Duck reported that the drainage grids from Kings Head down Main Street were overgrown, to be raised with Cumberland Council had still not been done.
Clir Duck reported that she had seen sight of a letter from Home Group re the empty houses
Clir Duck stated that she had reported a dead fox in the river to the Environment Agency
Clir Read reported that the dog poo bin had been removed from Bootle Station, there was now no suitable bin on the route from the station to Hycemoor. On reporting it was stated that evidence was required that it had actually been there.
Clir Duck had undertaken a litter pick and noted that there was fly tipping on the outside of the village and problem of litter on A595. She asked if anti-litter signage could be placed in the lay byes. Clir Pratt to enquire at Cumberland no response received. Clerk to chase
Clir Crozier enquired about the missing plaque at the Station which may have been broken during the refurb. Clir Faulkner to make enquiries.
Clir Crozier stated that additional blocks had been deposited on the beach
