The member of the public gave an update on the beach clean at Ananside. An additional skip was required to remove the remaining waste, plus an additional charge of £4 + vat had been incurred for the tyres disposed of.

Resolved to order the additional skip.

Resolved to write to Trudy Harrison MP, Cllr Andy Pratt, Portfolio holder for waste at Copeland Borough Council re the issue

Letter of thanks to go to farmer who has assisted in the removal of the waste.

All correspondence has been previously circulated. The following had been received:

• Request received from a contractor to site plant/materials for the Summerhill project – unable to assist as the Parish Council does not own any suitable site.
• Wellbank project – application for modifications to original planning to be submitted

124/22 Councillor Matters

• Cllr Kenworthy reported that residents are upset at the change of GP at the practice. Resolved letter to be sent to practice
• Cllr Kenworthy had received reports of flooding on the road from Wellbank to the station. Letter to be sent to highways to again highlight this ongoing issue of drain blocking. Issue of run off from Wellbank Site to be raised with developer by Cllr Faulkner.
• Cllr Smith had received reports of flooding on the A595 on the bridge a number of drains are blocked within the village. Evidence to be obtained and raised on CC reporting system.

• Cllr Faulkner asked that the coronation be placed on the February agenda
