The Clerk reported that there were current overspends on Clerk & Council expenses (£247.50), Toilet block Utilities (£274.02), Toilet repairs (£642.00) and Footlight maintenance (£106.10) which would require to be adjusted by transfer of funds from Budget line Lengthsman £1400

Speeding – Clerk to Check if any speed checks have been undertaken
Broadband – National Plans to increase availability throughout Cumbria
Footpath – Cllr Faulkner reported that he had been in contact with Nicola Parker lead on Infrastructure in Active Travel.

An application had been received for the post of cleaner. Resolved to appoint from 1 March on 1 months trial with relief cleaner supervising

138/22 Reports from representatives on outside bodies and working groups
Cllr Kenworthy reported back from the meeting with BDSSC. Going forward this will be referred to as the BDSSA (Bootle and District Social and Sports Association) to reflect the charity commission listing and other documentation. The BDSSA are to apply for grant funding for a feasibility study into a complete significant revamp of the sports field facilities.
Resolved that the Council will support this study.
Cllr Faulkner reported that the next meeting of the South Copeland Partnership is on 28 February 2023 at 7pm. Clerk to attend in the absence of Cllr Faulkner
