In his absence Cllr Faulkner who had already informed the council he was willing to stand was elected as Vice Chair. Proposed by Cllr Kenworthy, Seconded Cllr Crozier. Cllr Faulkner will be asked to sign his acceptance of office at the next meeting.

Corney Fell Road will remain closed until summer 2025 due to EA permitting and contractor availability.
It was agreed a challenge to this protracted timescale be made given the need for an alternative route to be available. Clerk to draft letter.

Cllr Kenworthy attended a meeting with Wellbank and other parties where the issues of the footpath were raised. An environmental team are to be invited to help put a plan together. Cllr Kenworthy to continue to attend the meetings.
