District Councillor’s Report
Clir Pratt reported that the proposed new Highways speed limit was to be determined
w/c 14 October 2024. Clerk to resend the Bootle PC response to the consultation to
Clir Pratt as it appeared that these had not been reflected in the proposal..
Homegroup houses on Summerhill — residents will be moving out whilst repairs
undertaken on the concrete.
CALC – Andy Pratt is the CALC representative on the GDF Community Partnership
and will represent Bootle
A letter has been received from the Chair of the Community Partnership re seeking
views on an honorarium. The Clerk reported that no letter had been received. Clir
Pratt to follow up.
A595 works to be completed by Christmas.

81/24.1 Community Plan
Clir Crozier reported that he had undertaken a review of the Community Plan. A
review of the action plan to be placed on the website focussing on what had been
achieved. A summary of all these achievements to be complied to as a precursor to
a new questionnaire being compiled and circulated focussing on 5 core questions.
81/24.2 Footpath Wellbank
Clir Kenworthy reported that a meeting with LDNP/CC representatives had been
arranged to walk to proposed route. Clir Pratt to join.
82/24 Reports from representatives on outside bodies and working groups
82/24.1 BDSSA – Clir Kenworthy reported that now awaiting civils and
building prices for piles and structures.

Actions — clerk to present a draft of new contract to council
Clerk to produce a guide for implementing emergency measures should the clerk be unfit to
undertake duties.

A draft statement had been previously circulated to all councillors and in agreement
was modified. The agreed official statement will be presented to the chair of the
proposed public meeting at the appropriate time.
