Cllr Faulkner reported that there had not been any progress
Cllr Woodcock had made enquiries regarding potential income. £56 for a full plot, £28 for a half plot each plot approx. 250sq metres
A member of the public wished to make a complaint against a councillor. The clerk advised the member of public of the correct procedure required when making a complaint against a councillor.
Cllr George enquired who was responsible for the slurry pipe which crosses the road from a farm
B Cllr McGrath had submitted a written report. The car park flooding had been addressed and should be monitored. Transfer of ownership of the car park to the Parish Council was being considered.

Flood resilience – tree planting to continue in November
There was reluctance by the school to take on the Book Box at this moment in time. A plea to be put out on social media for someone to manage the Book box
No response to adverts, to re-advertise as a job share. Toilets to remain closed until a cleaner can be employed.
The Clerk reported that a new contract had been negotiated to start on 19 January 2022.
Wabberthwaite Parish Council had shown an interest in sharing a Lengthsman To be added to the budget for 2022
Contractor had notified the Clerk that works were expected to be completed 4 October 2021
Cllr Faulkner reported still awaiting Jenny Brumby. A request for 10 hi viz vests, litter pickers and hoops to be made to Copeland BC waste officer.
B Cllr McGrath had pursued this on behalf of the Parish Council and been assured that the drain had been fixed. To report any further complaints to Copeland BC.
Cllr Read to seek approval by local farmers for a beacon on Black Combe
A complaint had been received from a resident regarding the lack of speed monitoring and unsafe/no footpaths through the village for walkers. The Clerk to pursue with Cty Cllr Hitchen and B.Cllr McGrath
Cllr Faulkner expected that South Copeland Partnership would be responding to this
The Clerk reported that she had attended a meeting where an announcement was made of the forming of 2 Community Partnerships, one of which would be in South Copeland. Copeland BC would be making a decision on 14 October as a principal authority
Cllr Kenworthy to attend the meeting on 1 November 2021 as the representative of Bootle Parish Council
